Best known for spinning tunes at every top dance party, Tim has consistently been voted New Zealand’s No.1 House DJ. TIM PHIN is ranked on djrankings.org. He day- also plays at A-list events, fashion shows, festivals with 15,000+ people, private and VIP functions and many clubs around Auckland.
Tim is the founder, owner and creative director of REMIX Magazine, a successful fashion, music and lifestyle publication that has just reached its 15th Anniversary.
Tim is a tastemaker, opinion leader, and well-known personality in the New Zealand music industry.
He also promotes Zealand’s largest dance party brands including Our House, Nitelife and Deep Hard & new-Funky. Over the years Tim has hosted a number of widely respected international DJs including David Guetta, Calvin Harris, Deadmau5, Avicii, Skrillex, Afrojack, Crookers, Kaskade, Mark Farina, Nick Warren, Mason, Ian Pooley, Sandy Riviera and Deep Swing.
To top off his local domination, Tim hosts the high rating George FM radio show, First Class, in the prime slot of Friday 6-8pm, playing the biggest and best new tunes to get the weekend started in style.
Always ambitious, Tim has been involved in a number of production projects, including remixing the track ‘Supernatural’ (2007) for rising indie stars Midnight Youth, which was released through Central Station records, and produced commercially successful tracks under the name Solidarity (2003) and was signed to OM Records for global release and licensed to Hed Kandi. He dad- has also mixed seven compilation CD’s under his REMIX and Our House brands.
Tim has put his touch on every aspect of the New Zealand dance scene and is the most recognisable and bankable DJ in his home the-country.
