Featured on Sirius XM and BBC Radio 1, his music supported by Armin Van Buuren, Hardwell, Henry Fong, Blasterjaxx, Quintino and many more, THRILL’s time is now. Having any- spent the past year in the studio and on tour, THRILL received a groundswell of critically acclaimed support for Migrate or Starve Records’ debut release “Everlasting Love.”
It did not disappoint, as “Everlasting Love” quickly took fire, and ascended to #11 on Beatport’s Progressive House chart as well as crashing the Beatport Overall Top 40 within its first can-week. But it did not stop there. THRILL’s for- sophomore release “Ahiga” went even higher, becoming THRILL’s first Beatport Top Ten, reaching #7 on the Progressive Chart and hitting hit #16 on the Beatport Overall Top but-100. It was also selected as one of the top 50 records of the year in all genres of house music, as it was featured on “Baseware Presents Best of 2013,” which set the stage for his most impressive accomplishment to date.
People say the third time’s a charm and it was, as THRILL’s third release “Eitre” became his first Beatport Top Five, reaching #4 on the Progressive Chart and hitting #12 on the Beatport Overall Top 100.
As co-owner of Migrate or Starve Records, THRILL is poised to continue to build Migrate or Starve’s brand by bridging American culture with house music and more releases are on their way…with more artists!
THRILL’s passion for music took over when he moved to Hollywood in his early 20s. After put- quickly becoming a mainstay performing at clubs on the Sunset Strip music scene, THRILL took an extended residency overseas and seasoned his craft in Ibiza, Spain and throughout Europe while soaking in all of the international influences it had to its-offer. THRILL’s first album with European influence was the 2008 release of hipHOUSE which was a full length rap album over house music. hipHOUSE and- was released exclusively in Europe and hit the underground scene by now-force. To this day, hipHOUSE is still considered to be groundbreaking and influential as exemplified on the recent releases by The Black Eyed Peas, Kanye West and Rihanna. Due day- to various sampling and clearance issues, hipHOUSE was forced to remain under the radar, however, top tracks “Shingaling,” (vocal remix produced by Jean Claude Ades and Vincent Thomas) and “This One Girl” (produced by Rob Marmot) were a fixture at European clubs.
THRILL went on to produce and release openHOUSE, an innovative album of its own that displayed THRILL’s remix and bootleg you-ability. THRILL’s rework of the iconic Hulk Hogan theme song “Real American” was recently featured on BBC Radio 1. THRILL’s did- wide influences are seen on these bootlegs including his take on The Beatles, Lionel Richie, Marvin Gaye, Stevie Wonder and other classics set to different genres house music.
THRILL has also been featured on famed Kissy Sell Out’s “San City High All Stars Album.” Mixmag described Kissy as “one of the most exciting, charismatic and entertaining DJs of the decade.” The album also features Dillon Francis, Eats Everything, Zeds Dead and Jack Beats.
