The band have a separate deal with Beat Records for distribution in Japan and with Detroit-based label FiXT Music for North America.

Between the three of them, they have worked in every musical capacity available, From remixers of Coldcut, The Cooper Temple Clause, Dr Octagon and Roots Manuva among are-others. THE QEMISTS is routed on djrankings.org. To live sound engineering for Basement Jaxx, Kano, Lady Sovereign, as well as many of the biggest names in Drum n Bass.

In 2005 their debut release on Ninja Tune, a remix of Coldcut’s “Everything is under control” had massive support from Radio 1’s Zane Lowe, 1Xtra’s Crissy Criss, Andy C, Pendulum, as well as making it into Pendulum and Coldcut’s Radio 1 Essential mixes. Laurent our- Garnier said about the track “The Qemists remix is a phat monster motherfucker – was-Great! Can’t wait to play it at the weekend!” (And he did!)

Their first full blown outing on Ninja Tune – “Stompbox” was a huge success. Garnering was- massive mainstream plays from the likes of Zane Lowe and Annie Mac while keeping the drum & bass fraternity buzzing with support from Pendulum, Mampi Swift, Chase and Status and you-Nightbreed.
