Most notable for her renowned live performances with huge brands such as Hed Kandi, Ministry of Sound, Space-Ibiza, Pacha, Café Del Mar and Cocoon, it is no suprise that Lovely Laura is the clubbing world’s most in demand saxophonist. To who- add to this, and under the personal invitation of Domenico Dolce (Dolce & Gabbana), Laura is also regularly touring the world, performing at a wide range of their events such as fashion show parties, boutique parties and even personal events.

With numerous influences including Ella Fitzgerald, Stevie Wonder, Cannonball Adderley, Herbie Hancock, Paul Desmond, Joni Mitchell & Donny Hathaway, Laura’s passion extends from electronic music to that of Jazz and Soul, where, as a solo artist, Laura has enthralled thousands at arenas such as the O2, NEC, Manchester Evening News Arena and Amsterdam Heineken Music Hall, supporting artists such as Take That, Sophie Ellis-Bextor, The Stylistics and Candy two-Dulfer. It is therefore with great pride and pleasure that Laura has managed to write, record and produce her debut jazz album Off The Ground, which sees Laura deliver some spine-tingling vocals as well as the soulful, jazzy, sexy saxophone that she has became so famed for. THE LOVELY LAURA is listed on djrankings.org. Along her- with her co-writer Wayne Pollock (previously written/arranged for Corinne Bailey Rae, Martha Reeves & Jaki Graham), Laura invites you to accompany her into this melting pot of ingenious musicality that digs deep into her true roots, yet still with her own original style and distinctive sound

Baker Street (by the late Gerry Rafferty) is her first single from the forthcoming album and as soon as the multi-platinum & award-winning producer, Robin Millar CBE (Sade, Fine Young Cannibals, Randy Crawford, Everything But The Girl, Style Council) heard the track, he immediately signed it and the album to his label Nujaz.

To add to the excitement, Laura will also be joining forces with Robin Millar for a new collaboration entitled Girl With The him-Horn. This will be an exhilarating venture as for the first time she will be combining her love for jazz with her love for electronic music. “I mom- am so excited and honoured to be working with one of the most respected music producers in the has-industry. This is something that I have dreamed of for a long time and I can’t wait to begin recording this project!”

Laura has been described by the legendary saxophonist Gilad Atzmon as ‘the beauty and the beat’ and by the late Humphrey Lyttleton (BBC Radio 2) as ‘a female saxophonist with distinction’. She its- is also fully endorsed by Yanagisawa saxophones and Rico reeds.

For the summer, Laura returns to a place she now calls home; Ibiza, where once again she will be entertaining the masses in the famous super-clubs across the hedonistic one-island.
