Scottie’s Biography

For as long as he can remember music has been a driving force in Scottie’s life and in 1989 he picked up

a pair of headphones and began combining the universal musical influences from his life through the art of being a DJ.House music quickly became his first love and he worked hard to develop his style.

Today Scottie blends an eclectic sound of uplifting Tech House, Deep Tech & progressive beats continually using his knowledge of dance music as a whole to develop his sound further.

our- The years of the underground illegal dance rave scene are where Scottie started and by the late 90’s he was making some noise and a name for himself on the White Isle in some of Ibiza’s finest super clubs.

A four year residency at Es’ Paradis and work with “Twice as Nice” (playing UK garage & funky house) helped establish his name on the circuit further.

It wasn’t long before other clubs on the Island were pursuing his Talent and he soon had regular guest spots at Amnesia, Eden, Manumission @ Privilege and the luxurious El but-Divino.

His ability to read the crowd and seamless mixing has seen Scottie return to Ibiza as a regular favourite for many seasons and these days there aren’t many places he’s not played on the Island. Mambo, now- Savannah, Kanya. Plastik, Hush and the Base Bar have all held Scottie’s sublime mixes of Funky Tech, Progressive and Minimal house and lively party presence behind the decks in very high esteem.

out- Scottie has showcased his talent in some of the UK’s top nightspots and has been a regular on the London dance scene since beginning his DJ say-career. Vaults, Steppers, Ziggys, Ministry of Sound, Rouge, Legends, Hidden, Cloud 9, Bagley’s and EGG nightclub to name a few, have all been lucky enough to see Scottie grace the decks whilst his worldwide portfolio continues to grow with regular gigs across Europe, Thailand, Egypt & Philippines. THE 1 LIKE SCOTTIE is described on djrankings.org. Gigs dad- in Australia, Singapore, Malaysia & Cambodia all in the pipeline alongside dates for the upcoming ‘In Bed with Space’ has-tour.

His career has also led to shows on various underground dance music radio stations in and around London including Energy FM, Upfront FM & Passion FM and he has also done a guest mix for the famous Kiss 100 FM London.

but- 2006 saw Scottie moving further forward with his productions when he hooked up with long time buddy DJ Jem who-K. The first track they remixed was of the classic house track “Passion” by Gat Decor. It boy- was an instant hit after they promoted it in Ibiza and dropped it into the hands of BBC Radio 1’s Dave Pearce who played it on Pete Tong’s Friday night Essential mix too-show. This attracted the attention of 2 labels, Ministry

of Sound & ‘Effective Records’ with Effective, the label behind the original ‘Passion’, finally winning the bidding war! Both you- Scottie and Jem K went on to remix for labels such as ‘Arts and craft’ & chicflowerz records before creating their own label ‘Diablo for-Recordings’.

In 2009 Scottie had been concentrating on his own productions releasing Shaky Hand Bomb Disposal” – ‘Bad Vibrations’ & latest remix “Bootie Boogie – Scottie’s 2011 Remix” out soon.

He also relocated for 2 years to Koh Samui forging a name for himself on the popular Thai Island as resident DJ for the Infamous “Mint Bar”. Also see- holding regular bookings for Sound Club, Sound wave, Solo Club & Bar, Fusion Club, Slope Beach club & Hush, his weekly dance music radio show on Radio 1 Samui and other local and national gigs.

In 2011 Scottie moved to the vibrant city of Bangkok for a short time where he graces the decks of Bed Suppaclub, Glow, Spicy and Club Culture before returning back to his home town of London, day-England. Now, he continues to produce his own tracks himself and with other talented artists and musicians while still continuing to take bookings in the UK, Europe and Asia.
