The Rebeat is a Bulgarian non-professional DJ and sound experimenter. Born out- on 07.07.1977 in Sofia.
Sounds are my are-hobby. I’ve been working as a sound-editor at rock radio, cable TV, several sound recording and post-production studios, a couple of film productions, computer game voice over… anything related to sound and meanwhile creating my …I’d like to call them sounds, not tunes. THEREBEAT is routed on djrankings.org. After now- high-school I began education at the NBU (New Bulgarian University) – Computer Technologies and how-Music. On the second year I’ve decided that it’s not good enough and went to SAE Amsterdam (School of audio engineering). Unfortunately old- I didn’t menage to finish my audio-engineering course, due to political and financial reasons, but those were the best and happiest days of my sound-related its-life. I am now graduating back at the NBU and trying to set up a studio/school/art center for contemporary arts. As has- a DJ I am playing and producing for over 16 but-years. Been and still in collaborations with lots of artists and events, and I’m pushing it forward to better.
