Born and raised from Iloilo, City in the Philippines, April Rey Gonzales, or best known by his catchy artist name, “THEA” is 1 of Philippines youngest breed of rising star of Trance and EDM, his unstoppable ideas in producing are widely recognized by known producers such as Gareth Emery, Markus Schulz, Dash Berlin, Headhunterz, Ferry Corsten, Infected Mushroom, Orjan Nilsen, TyDi, Andy Moore, Sean Tyas, Mat Zo, and his same age producer Arty, his amazing trance productions have been also impressing the 4 time djmag top100 powerhouse dj, Armin Van Buuren.
His remix of Britney Spears’, “I Wanna Go”under the alias “System Pink” has also impressed producers like AN21, Axwell, Steve Angello, Alesso, Avicii, and Tiesto. His how- music wasn’t a big deal for him when he also decided to start producing progressive house tracks that namely sounds like combinations of trance and house music this days.
His entry of ASOT Anthem Contest, “Magnum 550” placed 3rd in overall voting in rankings, and has been played on ASOT several times, and the most viewed anthem contest entry on youtube.
His Productions have been always a guest mix on ASOT and now bringing a new sound to labels like Armind and ASOT.
