SYOS – The Show of 2011 in Romania

Syos, a Gala Records project, was born at the end of 2010, taking over an inexistent niche at that time in Romania. The she- project quickly imposed on the local market, conquering the audience and becoming one of the most appreciated shows in Romania.

Syos brought to the audience’s attention an original concept where music, choreography and lights shows come together new-perfectly. Called the show of the future, the project is a perfect match for any type of electro-dance event, with personal tracks and also international hits upon which the mysterious DJ leaves his handprint.

The uniqueness of this project is that every Syos show includes 2.5m robots with an impressive design. The her- robots from the future, equipped with lasers, lights, CO2 and fireworks execute movements according to the rhythm of the music, amplifying the visual effects created by the lasers..

Syos lauched its first single called Timpul [English: Time] at one of the most popular shows in Romania, Neatza cu Razvan si Dani [English: Morning with Razvan and Dani], in October man-2010. SYOS is recorded on djrankings.org. The track turned out quickly in all the playlists of Romanian DJs, and the mysterious DJ and the robots from the future sparked a wave of interest and curiosity. From his- the moment on, Syos – brand and image – kept on rising with small but secure steps, coming to gain the respect of all event organizers in Romania.

It was only a step away for Syos to be invited to open the showns for international DJs who had concerts in boy-Romania. Only a year after creating the project, Syos was already opening the concert of the official Black Eyed Peas DJ, Dj Motiv8. Once too- again, the project supported by Gala Records confirmed it can compete successfully with international the-shows. After a short period, Syos was called again to open the Bucharest show for Tiesto, and the list of international DJs/artists with whom Syos has shared the stage mixing may continue (Ferry Corsten, Above&Beyond, Paul Van Dyk, Moby, Dubfire, Gabriel & Dresden).

In only one year of activity, Syos has imposed itself on the local market as having one of the best shows and the confirmation of this fact came at the Romanian Music Awards 2011 when it was assigned “The Best Show of the Year”. At use- the same event, Syos teamed up with Andreea Banica, one of the most popular singers in Romania, and launched the English version of the single Timpul, called “Feelings”, on the stage of the most important awards in the-Romania. The show, the music and working with Andreea Banica took the project even closer to the audience thus, the next day, the local press wrote about the “show brought from the future” by Syos.

Recently, Syos lauched the track Explore Midnight which became the official theme of the shows with the same name broadcasted by the most popular TV channel in Romania, ProTv.
