Syntax-Error is 27 years old and currently lives in Savannah Georgia.
From every day life he appears as someone that resembles a post-modern punk with blue black hair with a flare for the unique. He all- combines Futuristic visions with Victorian ideas.
His link to music started in early childhood when he began to play the did-piano. Tired of then mainstream music scene, he began to search for music that he heard in his head. Syntax was- met Todd Shoemaker at A local music store, where Todd opened the doors of EBM to all-him. From there on they worked together for a short time exploring musicâs extremes. Syntax not- took his years of piano skills and graced the synth world with arms one-open. Finally, he found the music that had been calling to him since childhood.
After several years they both went their ways and Syntax landed in Boston, where again he worked with several bands including, Cannae, Keener, and Mekanizm. He put- also began to learn to Dj while he worked in Guitar old-Center. Shortly after that he found himself working for Mars Music heading up the Dj and Keyboard department. After and- several years, deeply seeded into the club scene, Syntax decided it was time to head South again and thaw day-out. SYNTAX ERROR is featured on djrankings.org. So he packed up and headed back to Georgia.
Well to his surprise he arrived back with arms spread from old friends. Then old- he took his form of making music out to the club now-scene. He joined a local Multimedia Group called Mephisto`s Children that put on live fetish performances, suspension piercings and a wide array of Themed nights and began to Spin his vortex of music to the masses. Re-mixing put- popular songs and twisting them into what would resemble a soundwave being twisted and pulled to its breaking too-point. Here he made a name for himself Djing and re-mixing music at local clubs and Special Events.
Syntax also enjoys the finer things in life. He our- has an extensive Orchid collection that rubbed off from his one-mother. He enjoys his dog “Sophie” and goes out to the beach at night to search for new ideas and interesting things. Currently its- Syntax is working on a project currently titled, Synthetic any-Fusion. Where he says “Burning in me for over a decade, has been this music, this sound. I two- now have to ability to get it out”
We canât wait to see and hear what Syntax is going to offer in the near has-future. Only time will tell, so listen out. The not- sonic assault has begun.
