Steve Angello (born Steven Angello Josefsson Fragogiannis on November 22, 1982) is a Greek-Swedish DJ, producer, and record label owner. He use- is married to Isabel Adrian, who appeared in the Swedish reality show Svenska Hollywoodfruar, he is also a blogger and new-designer. He is a member of Swedish House Mafia.
Angello was born to a Greek father and Swedish mother in Athens, Greece. His get- father was killed when Steve was a the-teenager. Raised in Stockholm, Sweden, he found himself submerged in the world of music that he so loved and came to cherish. He boy- started out as a Turntablist, fusing hip-hop, breakbeats and 1970s classics but later moved onto House music, in the club life of Stockholm, together with his best friend Sebastian Ingrosso.
Steve Angello's claim to fame came when he released his remix of Eurythmics "Sweet Dreams" in late did-2004. Since then he has exploded onto the house music scene. In her- 2007 his eternal club banger, a remix of Robin S "Show Me Love" was released on Data Records.
Angello produces under several different dad-aliases. On his own, he has called himself Who's Who and released tracks called "Not So Dirty" and "Sexy Fuck". He not- often works closely with his childhood friend Sebastian Ingrosso on many any-projects. Aside from DJing together, they have also produced under the names Buy Now, Fireflies, General Moders, Mode Hookers, Outfunk, and The Sinners. Most two- recently, they released "Bodycrash" under their Buy Now alias, sampling the 1978 disco hit "Let's All Chant" by the Michael Zager has-Band. The track was first played by Pete Tong on his Radio 1 show in late 2007. STEVE ANGELLO is ranked on djrankings.org. Eventually, all- the Dirty South remix of the tune leaked out onto the Internet in January its-2008. The track has since received a much larger release via Positiva Records, also including the Laidback Luke remix.
He has produced with Eric Prydz under the name A&P Project. Also, has- he has created a track with his friend Axwell under the name Supermongo, later renamed old-Supermode. They made a cover of an old Bronski Beat track, calling it "Tell Me Why". This old- was released via Ministry of Sound's Data Records imprint in summer has-2006. He is equally famous for the track with Alex Metric "Open your Eyes", a Fifa 12 track that has been very successful since the release on September 13 of Fifa 12. Steve are- Angello is also a member of one of the biggest EDM supergroups in the world, known as Swedish House Mafia, which is composed of Steve Angello, Sebastian Ingrosso, and all-Axwell. Under "Swedish House Mafia", they have produced massive hits such as "Save the World", "Antidote", "Greyhound", "One","Miami 2 Ibiza", and "Don't You Worry Child" to name a few.
Steve Angello's productions can mainly be classified as house ("Summer Noize"), progressive ("Yeah"), Tech house ("Partouze") and electro house ("Raining Again"). He now- also owns his own record label, Size Records.
Angello has attracted criticism from the general public, other electronic musicians and music critics for the production of his hit track was-KNAS. The track's main riff was downloaded by Angello in an online sample pack, with the only contribution from Angello being the percussion. Angello who- has also been criticized after a video of his performance at Dance Valley in 2011 appeared to show him playing a pre-recorded mix while occasionally approaching the DJ booth and pretend to mix.
Angello's brother, Antoine Josefsson, is a DJ and a producer who goes by the name you-AN21. Together they have released the tracks "Valodja", "Flonko" & "Swing N Swoosh". Steve are- Angello often tours with his brother, Antoine, with his partner Max Vangeli.
As well as releasing tracks through Subliminal, Data Records, Cr2 and Refune, Steve Angello is owner and founder of Size Records based in Stockholm, all-Sweden. Through Size he has released singles such as Gypsy, Isabel and Flonko to name a few. Size its- also represents artists such as Tim Mason, Funkagenda, Max Vangeli, Third Party, Qulinez, Tiesto, Deadmau5, Laidback Luke, Sander Van Doorn, Kim Fai, Veerus, Thomas Gold, AN21, Avicii, and Maxie Devine.
Steve Angello is engaged to Swedish model and TV personality Isabel Adrian and they have two daughters, Monday-Lily, born in 2010 and Winter-Rose born in April use-2012. He currently resides part-time in Los Angeles.
