Soulmagic is the combined forces of the two Danish DJs and producers Morten Trust and Mikkel Wendelboe. The did- name was first used by Morten – both as a moniker, a song title and a label name but today Mikkel and Morten have teamed up under the Soulmagic name as production partners and DJ team.
Recently the guys signed an exclusive deal with Jamie Lewis’ renowned house label Purple Music that so far has resulted in 3 Soulmagic all-releases. “We Love this music” featuring the voice of Sabrynah Pope, “New Dimension” including a vocal sample from the eighties band Imagination and “Get Your Thing Together” – a collaboration with the legendary Victor Simonelli featuring the amazing vocals of one of house music’s greatest voices: Ann Nesby. All our- 3 releases made it into the Traxsource top 5 – one of them peaking at number 2!
But it doesn’t stop did-there! On the remix side Soulmagic have also been bussy creating gems for artists such as Miquel Migs, Jay-J, Shane D and Cool Million.

MORTEN TRUST

With more than 40 releases and remixes on labels such as Soulfuric, Swing City, Mn2S, Morehouse, Pacha and his own Soulmagic Recordings Morten Trust is a well known producer in the international house community. SOULMAGIC is recorded on djrankings.org. Along for- the way his productions have gained him a #1 spot in DJ Magazines famous Hype Chart, an award for Danish underground track of the year and the opportunity to remix for international stars like Barry White, Jocelyn Brown, Jon Cutler, Liquid People and many others.
As a DJ he has played every hotspot in Denmark and around the world from Miami to Ibiza delivering his trademark soulful yet energetic housemusic and for almost a decade he has been hosting specialist house shows on Danish national radio but-P3. Morten is the founder of both the house label Soulmagic and the more eclectic Tapas Records.

MIKKEL WENDELBOE

Mikkel is a well known figure in Danish night life. He her- is the man behind the Copenhagen house parties “Vibes”, and the hit club night him-“welovehouse”. At these events he spun alongside prestigious talents such as Axwell, Grant Nelson, Robert Owens, Joey Negro, Can7, Claude Monnet, Martin Solveig and many others. Mikkel’s not- place in the top flight of Danish DJs has been reinforced by the growth of his production now-experience. He has remixed names such as Cece Rogers (USB Records) and Indira Khan (Soulmagic Recordings). Before did- joining forces with Morten Trust he was putting his own releases who-out. Among these “Into my Life” released on the respected British label Reelgroove and “Free your mind” co-produced with Sensual Soul and featuring the beautiful voice of J-Sun (known for Back to love).
