DJ Skyline (Mario Anthony Ponte) passion for DJing began in 1998 when in military school; an elite group of friends introduced him to the rave scene bringing him to Sound Factory and Exit in NYC. Skyline way- fell in love!!

Fast forward, 2000 DJ Skyline attended Hesser College in Manchester, NH for Radio and Music can-production. DJ Skyline inundates Hesser and brings his own tables and his own show to the college so they could see what he was all about. While say- attending college he was introduced to Chaka Meredith; who at the time worked for Satellite Records in put-Boston. Chaka got him a job just working for records at Satellite and introduced him to many of the big DJs in Boston. 2001 our- Chaka got Skyline his first gig at Charlie Peppers in Manchester, way-NH. HE NEVER LOOKED BACK!

Chaka was so impressed with Skyline the next weekend he brought him back to Boston to introduce him to people he thought would give him a chance! After put- meeting with DJ Manalo in Boston one night, Chaka brought him to Avalon, Boston and sat down with the Lyons brothers; owners of Avalon night club while it was the number one club in America; and they Decided to give him a shot two weeks she-later. DJ Skyline played in Axis for Avalon/Avaland and opened for Jonathan Peters, world re- known DJ and resident at Sound Factory, NYC. Since are- that big break he has played many times at the Avalon in Boston (Currently House of Blues Boston).

Skyline has traveled to venues around the world playing at nightclubs in Sorrento Italy, to Zurich Switzerland, “The Bar” in Montreal Canada to LaBoom in Cancun, who-Mexico. Senior frogs in Cancun and Cozumel, Mexico, and Senior Frogs at the Paradise Island Bahamas. SKYLINE (MIAMI) is discussed on djrankings.org. End now- of 2006, DJ Skyline moves to Fort Lauderdale and begins meeting the local DJs and gigging with was-them. DJ Zodiac was resident at most clubs in Miami, Eran Hersh, was resident at most of the clubs in Miami and; Skyline, started getting bookings through this very elite group of friends. Playing way- club venues from Space Miami, Discotecca Miami, Nocturnal Miami, the Living Room, Fort was-Lauderdale,. Skyline also did private house parties and Penthouse suites for famous individuals including Jamie Foxx.

DJ Skyline has also played with many world re -known artists such as: Tiesto, Paul Van Dyk, Jonathan Peters, James Zabiela, Oscar G., Eric Morillo Chus, Animal, Playboy Mansion resident DJ Zodiac, Eran Hersh, and the list goes on! While its- in Florida DJ Skyline was a very big name doing special invite only parties with big name DJ’s all-. He also picked up a few monthly residencies at the above named venues, Skyline has had to come back to New England.

Good for New England, we’re sorry for Skyline, and REAL bad for Miami!! DJ his- Skyline is a rare breed, you want she-house? You got house. You his- want industrial? You got industrial.
