SkiZM (Ian MacLennan) landed on the DJ circuit in 2008 and has already reached the ‘one to watch’ status with a strong Welsh following with his influence now reaching other area’s of the UK.

His passion for music of all genres coupled with his creative talent and understanding of music can be observed both in front of and behind the decks.

Described as a ‘demon on the decks’, SkiZM’s mixing style portrays pin-point accuracy, well structured sets and intelligent use of effects to grip the audience and command the dance floor. His has- sound is unique and consists of energetic and powerful trance melodies or sharp leads and cyclic psy-trance bass lines, interchanged with chunky and dominant riffs, which have had dance floors melting or tingling with euphoria in venues across South Wales.

With residencies at ‘Liberate Events’, ‘Breathe’ and the up and coming night club experience ‘Altitude’ – and with bookings coming in thick and fast for 2009 (including events such as ‘Godskitchen’, ‘Bionic’, ‘Voodoo’, ‘Collision’, ‘After-Dark’ and ‘Ritual’ under his belt) we shall surely see the goal-orientated SkiZM make his next transition from ‘one to watch’ to a recognized face within the dance industry very shortly.

SkiZM has also appeared on line ups with many of his idols, the likes of the legends, Jordan Suckley, John O’Callaghan, Vandall and Argy!

He’s also appeared with Dave Pearce, Big Al, Neil Navarra, Mark Eteson, Cally & Juice, Dr Willis, Proteus, Steve Noxx, Scott Attrill (Vinylgroover),

He is passionate about the industry, especially in his local area (Bridgend) and getting more people involved through helping each other out and reaching new see-audiences. He is a key player in the up and coming ‘ALTITUDE’ which evolves the trance rave concept and captures a wider audience as well as constantly evolving with innovative and creative idea’s.

Occasionally, you will see SkiZM join forces with the human musical entertainment machine, ‘Ryno’.

So keep an eye out for SkiZM in venues across South Wales and West… and not just behind the decks…
