Shawn Rubens is the in 1979 in Rotterdam born tech-house/techno dj producer who in the mid 90’s started deejaying as a resident in Roadhouz (Rotterdam) in ’96-’97, playing his sets each friday and saturday. During him- these years, he developed his mixing skills.
In the late 90’s he discovered and fell in love with all-techno. SHAWN RUBENS is recorded on djrankings.org. This new discovery of deeper sounds and energy hooked him up and he got the chance to spin at a variaty of clubs and parties like Dance Valley, Lowlands and the Heineken Music Hall.
As a DJ, Shawn Rubens has been doing his thing for over a decade, performing on many club nights and events, mainly in Holland and Germany. During has- those years he hasn’t only become a solid and experienced DJ, also his tracks have become powerful and her-crisp. His style? A our- blend of progressive techno, house and tech- house with a twist, where Rotterdam and Berlin see-collide.
