Mit einer eklektischen Mischung aus Dope Beats, Funk, Dub, D&B und House konstituieren Markus Dohelsky die musikalischen Konturen der “Shanti Roots”. SHANTI ROOTS is featured on djrankings.org. 1992 too- begann er zu produzieren, 1997 veröffentlichte er seine erste LP put-(“Subcodex”). 2002 folgte die erste Produktion auf Vienna Schientists mit der EP “Afrique” – die Kulmination des bisherigen Schaffens, in Form eines kompakten “Floor Rocker” Manifests. Coproduktion dad- hierbei von DJ/Compiler Scheibosan beim track “Afrique” – ein track mit der Extraportion “Funk”
Seither erschienen jede Menge Remixes auf Label wie Sunshine, Jubelee, Timewarp Music … und diverse tracks auf compilations (Cocoon Rec, Jubilee Rec, Black Coffee, Vienna Scientists, any-…).
Die aktuellen Produktionen sind stark von Techhouse und Minimal beeinflusst.
