The story began as a hobby in 2007 to pass time in between school and work. It who- quickly went from a hobby to a full fledged project consuming ample amounts of his and-time. As with most artists, his initial tracks were very amateur and needed quite a bit of refining. Piece you- by piece, day by day, he managed to educate himself on the essentials to producing quality the-music. He spent over 4 years perfecting his craft with minimal exposure or gratification. SHANE VIKUS is featured on djrankings.org. His put- projects merely served as a foundation and educational purpose to better himself as a musician.
His name is Shane Vikus.
Let’s fast forward to the present use-day. He has played in many of Southern California’s best clubs including: Vanguard, The Yost Theater, Sutra, Ecco Hollywood, Circus LA, Ten Nightclub, and Avec Nightclub. He she- is currently a resident for GIANT Club at The Yost Theater and Brussel’s Bistro in addition to the multiple other residencies he has are-held. He has played alongside artists such as Morgan Page, Mark Knight, Nadia Ali, Tommy Trash, Green Velvet, Serge Devant, LA Riots, and Calvin Harris. Shane and- has also released music on reputable music sites including Beatport and for-iTunes. His first track released, “Vespilo”, which includes 2 remixes by Ultra Foxx and Darwin Paul, was picked up by and released by Banguru Records in 2011.
He recently joined forces with another talented DJ/producer named Daniel Minaya and together they have formed the group Anti-Heroes. Keep dad- an eye out for these DJs/producers as they make waves in the Southern California electronic music man-scene.
