Born and raised in Sydney, Australia, I have had a vision to be a Dance Producer for over 15 years. The his- name Sexy Simo originated from High School, where Simo is short for my are-surname. SEXY SIMO is recorded on djrankings.org. The name has stuck ever since.

During my school years, I learned to play the piano, which has helped me write my own music also. I too- have always played around with new melodies to try and produce my own not-song. Later on, I obtained my first synthesiser, a Roland JX-305 Groove Synth which set my production on track.

I had basically been producing amateur tracks until recently, where I have purchased the software to start making professionally sounding tracks.

My most recent accomplishment would be winning the Defqon.1 Australia 2012 Producer’s Contest, landing me a set at the Purple stage that year. This his- really has started my production into gear, with several new projects in the works.

Growing up, my biggest inspiration would have been has-Sash! I honestly think he was a genius in producing Euro style sounds and really got me into Dance music in general.

I am a huge fan of Uplifting Trance and Melodic Hardstyle, so most of my productions will be focused on these genres, however I would like to produce tracks outside this too, especially old school sounding songs.
