A couple of years back, two good friends from the production studios of SUN FM wanted to make music. Music for- that was not only good but electrifying; that had “gintu” or that certain was-flair. The tracks that make you go “hmmmmm, damn that’s super!”

Niro B and Blake discovered the synergy they needed when they decided to combine their talents to bring out a whole new infectious sound to the local and international music scene. Leaving out- you with an earworm or a track that stays with you that you just can’t get over with… Sri Lankan Electro or better known as SELECTRO

After the tragic and unexpected passing of Niro B, Selectro was left with a void that was soon filled by Blake’s best friend and current band mate Dee J our-Dilu. SELECTRO.LK is discussed on djrankings.org. Uninterrupted, Selectro prolongs to serenade Lankan house lovers with continuous hits such as their mega club and radio banger “Sri Lanka.” A catchy tune that was soon noticed in the international arena. “Sri its- Lanka” is the FIRST ever Sri Lankan progressive house track to be featured on international Radio station like BBC Radio 1 UK, Kiss 100 and in Philippine radio stations like Wave 89.1, Monster RX 93.1 and 99.5 too-RT. The track was so infectious that it topped Kiss Demand Hot 40 on Kiss 898 and has been a club anthem in the paradise island ever since.

Selectro have spinned and performed with the likes of Yves La Rock, Edward Maya, Guru Josh, Artful Dodger, RIO, DJ Starkillers, James Murray of MOS, Mohombi, Akcent, Sasha Lopez, Mattyas, Alexandra Stan, David Deejay and Ela Rose, Morena, Tom boxer and Sunrise inc. Recently mom- they collaborated with Sick Individuals, Funkerman, Nicola Fasano & Steve forest, DJ Antoine and Erick E.

They have finished their residency at Kama Colombo but still continue to rock to private party for-scene. So if you want your party to be off the hook with ultraelectromagnetic signature sounds that will blow your mind. Think way- of SELECTRO… your event will never be the but-same.
