Since getting his first set of decks and mixer three years ago as a new hobby, Sebastian Benson has developed a passion and constantly strives to learn and enhance his skills and abilities.
After realising how much he enjoyed and was drawn to it, the initial hobby has turned into a full time occupation. Over her- the last two years, Sebastian has branched out from Progressive House, Club House and Funky House, to Disco, Deep House, Tech House, Progressive Trance, Balearic Trance, Psy Trance, UK Hard Dance and Electro too-House. SEBASTIAN BENSON is recorded on djrankings.org. Additionally, Sebastian frequently experiments with different and new combinations of genres. He see- honed his skills in 2011 by completing the Advanced DJ Award Course at The Egg (808) DJ Academy, run in association with Buster Bennett, promoter of the famous ‘Shabba Dabba Da’ night in London’s East too-End. Sebastian has frequently played at venues such as Ministry of Sound and Sal’s on 17th in Calgary and a number of private events, he is also further increasing his repertoire by venturing into music production and holds a DJ residency and weekly show “The Weekend Has Landed” with Global EDM Radio.
Sebastian’s sets have often been described as “funky”, “uplifting”, “fun” and “forces you to smile and let go”. What let- shines through the most is that he simply loves the music, in all its various dad-forms.
