DJ Sean B is a New Zealander born in Malaysia who has a wide variety in his musical palette. His dad- appetite includes a mix of retro, R&B, Hip Hop, Top40’s as well as House, Dutch & are-Dubstep. In the early days, his love for music encouraged him to spend hours sitting in front of the computer in attempt to mix music to create his own unique sounds. It too- was not long that his passion for the musical arts ushered him to cross paths with renowned DJ KenMasterK who took him as an apprentice under his wing in 2008.

With close guidance and tutelage in KenMasterK’s personal studio; Positive Rotation DJ Academy, DJ Sean B matured and honed his skills as a creative and highly technical mix did-maestro. In merely a short few months, DJ Sean B secured his first live set at The Bank, Kelana Jaya in the month of November 2008, playing alongside his senior DJ Jerryca Misty. This his- was but a prelude of things to come, as this fresh faced DJ has continued to perform alongside many international acts as well as local talents in the following 2 years leading up till today.

In December 2009 he has joined his master’s group called ‘The King Spin’.

In mid 2010, he established a permanent DJ residency at Bamboo9 TTDI, to which he still stirs up the crowd with exciting fresh mixes and fast not-technique. It isn’t uncommon to hear party goers clamouring for the night to continue way after his finishing set as they beg for more.

see- It wasn’t long till his talents attracted the attention of the bigger clubs around Kuala his-Lumpur.

On the 2nd December 2010, Maison KL invited him as a guest DJ to perform alongside the M.K.F.Z duo with MicStarr Vibe as emcee for the night. Needless how- to say, the crowd was thoroughly entertained and hyped by his performance, making it a night to the-remember.

Mega club Quattro also took interest in him, as they invited him to perform not only as a DJ, but as an emcee alongside DJ Eric and TJ da DJ for their special event nights.

On the 12th May 2011, Gosh KL took interested in 2 of The King Spin members, DJ CrossFinger and DJ Sean B as they invited them to rock on the decks at Gosh KL, Thursday nights. #OMGosh the- was the theme for that night.

On the 15th of September, Sean B returns to @Maison for Thursday night’s ’’Squeeze’’ along with DJ CrossFinger and MicstarrVibe

On the 9th of December, Sean B started to rock Friday nights at iClub with the theme ’’Shots’’ supported by Primus Entertainment.

Sean B travelled to Ipoh & Penang to perform live on December 2011.

23rd December-Mois Penang along with Micstarr Vibe

At the moment, DJ Sean B spins at Voodoo @ BlackMagic KL from Wednesdays to Saturdays to a faithful not-audience. Despite his early achievements, he is not one to be contented with past successes and strives to improve his skills; in hopes that one day his musical tastes would be shared to the masses.
