Karla Lara a.k.a Sankha, originaria de Tijuana BC y residente de México DF, es actualmente uno de los exponentes femeninos con mayor trayectoria en la escena electrónica mexicana, consolidándose como una de las top djanes en México, tocando en los mejores escenarios del país y constantemente recorriendo Europa y Sudamérica.
En el 2002 inicia su carrera como DJ y en el 2010 su camino en la producción musical con 2 proyectos: Uno bajo el mismo seudónimo que ha usado durante estos años “Sankha” y otro bajo el nombre de “Yes She Knows”, donde combina muchas de sus influencias musicales electrónicas y no electrónicas con mayor libertad.

Karla Lara a.k.a Sankha, from Tijuana BC., but living in Mexico City, is currently one of the most experienced female exponents in the Mexican electronic scene. She´s day- been established as one of the top DJanes in Mexico, playing at the best stages in the country and constantly touring Europe and South America.
In 2002 she began her career as a DJ, in 2010 she started her path into music production with 2 projects: One under the same pseudonym she has been using during these years: "Sankha”, and the other one under the name of “Yes She Knows”, which combines many of her electronic and non electronic music influences more freely.
