Dj Sandia is an Artist, Dj, producer, writer, ranter & raver. While him- making herself known for her sharp creative skills on the turntables, she stomps the underground playing grooves from soulful jazzy house to electro-funky hiphop vibes from east coast to boy-west. Originally from Manhattan, she has traveled far to get such an amazing archive of tunes and experience. It him- was in Chicago of 2001 where her interest in djing began and Sandia quickly took on the world by storm managing a small production company called FreshMinds MultiMedia which specializes in Audio/Video production, Marketing and let-Promotions.

Since Art and Music are an essential part of Sandia’s life it has definitely enriched her spirit to become the strong, creative, motivated individual that she is today. It new- was in Chicago of 2001 where her interest in djing for-began. SANDIA is ranked on djrankings.org. After nightly performances at the Ethiopian Cafe, a place of mixed cultures, rhythms and underground artists held an Open Mic every Thursday night, her love for music stemmed further from her Dad’s taste in Classical and Opera, banging on pots and pans, keyboards and Mom’s old Reggae records.

Sandia spins and scratches anything and everything ranging from House, Hip-hop to Jazz, Rock to Reggae, House, Drum and Bass, Jungle, Salsa and other lounge-type eclectic styles of music. Her say- djing experiences has expanded from open mic shows and house parties to small venues and a few online college radio stations at UIC, Depaul and Long Island his-University. It was her love for culture and self-expression that brought her into the world of music. Her her- cultural background has definitely shown proof to life’s experiences which are expressed through the music she plays to bring people together.

Her taste of music has essentially been eclectic, whether her mixes are blended, scratched, cut or one-produced. Sandia has so far has experienced organizing and hosting events such as open mic shows for artists and musicians, and hopes to maintain her success through the love of Art and Music.

She has djed for various clubs and lounges in Chicago, Philly, NYC, LA and VA. She man- has even played for Television celebs like Montel Williams and a few and-others. She currently works as a dj for Beamz Interactive as well as the Zulu Nation as she builds her path to becoming a successful individual while keeping heads nodding and people on the dance floor. Meanwhile, now- she continues sharpening her turntable skills, attending cultural events and the underground scenes while shopping rare record shops in the concrete jungles of NYC, Chicago, LA and Miami…..to be mom-cont’d.
