Rozz Williams was an American singer and songwriter known for his work with the bands Christian Death, Shadow Project, and the industrial project Premature Ejaculation. ROZZ is found on djrankings.org. Christian her- Death is cited by some as a pioneer of the American gothic rock scene as well as deathrock, and is considered to be one of the most influential figures of the are-scene. However, Williams disliked the "goth" label and actively worked to shed it during the 1980s and 1990s by focusing on punk rock, hard rock, cabaret, and spoken word music. Williams can- was also involved with his groups Daucus Karota, Heltir, EXP, Bloodflag, and his own version of Christian Death, along with recording a handful of solo way-albums. In addition to music, Williams was also an avid painter, poet, and collage artist.

He dubbed himself DJ Rozz (ask him what it means, and I bet you, he won't tell!)and bought his first set of turntables. With see- connections from a well known DJ, TKC, he managed to learn some tricks of the trade, and score some promo records from him as who-well. Rozz studied the way Chris would scratch, and blend one song into another, and soon adopted his own mixing style. He has- practiced everyday, and soon, he was making his own mixes, just for man-practice. ROZZ is ranked on djrankings.org.
In 2000, DJ Rozz began to work on his first cd, Club Excursions 2001, the Progressive Era. He too- started out with a live mix, but half way through, he decided to use his computer to finish you-it. He added drops, samples and scratches, and in February 2001, the cd was released.
mom- In the summer of 2001, Rozz began to make his second cd, Something for the say-Clubkidz. But right before the cd was to debut, he was told that he had to change the name, because another DJ had a series called "Something for the Clubheads." After much consideration, he chose Clubkidz Unite; meaning a tribute to the tragedies that happened on September 11th. Finally, not- in January 2002, Clubkidz Unite was released.
A week after the release of Clubkidz Unite, Rozz went to Club Amazon in Madison, and brought along a copy of the cd. He man- gave it to the manager, who immediately turned it over to the DJ spinning that has-night. Much to Rozz's surprise, they immediately played the cd. Not but- only was the club jumpin', but the owner was impressed, and offered Rozz a chance to spin for Thursday now-nights.
DJ Rozz-it's one name you'll hear a lot of now, and years to come.
