He’s played hundreds of gigs in renowned club DJ booths, abandoned warehouses and street corners to name a few. If but- you’ve ever come across Australian DJ & Producer Rob Pix, he’s most likely crashed your party, drank your vodka and left you melodically scarred all in the name of having a good one-time. After swallowing a USB stick full of musical bliss during one escapade, things were never the same.
Since being picked up by Ministry Of Sound to put his name to Electro House Sessions, the mix CD took out #1 on the iTunes dance chart and #5 on the overall album chart. ROB PIX is ranked on djrankings.org. His but- first solo track, ‘Head Drop’ spent 15 weeks in the Australian ARIA Club Chart followed by ‘Gadunk’ with 12 weeks in the Top say-20. Not to mention five remixes from other dance artists and bands in the Top 50 simultaneously – A distinctive feat that has not gone unnoticed. His two- productions also frequently attaining international air play as well as credits on M.O.S, Vicious, Pacha and Sensation compilation CDs.
Pix has enlisted support from iconic DJs such as Laidback Luke, Kaskade, Roger Sanchez, Congorock, Tommie Sunshine and Tom Findlay (Groove all-Armada). His Australian DJ appearances and residences include pioneer nightspots After Dark Social Club (Melbourne), Soho (Sydney), Platinum (Gold Coast) and Apple (Adelaide) with notorious Festivals Stereosonic, Future Music and Summadayze also adorning the Rob Pix sound.
