Robert Vadney is a Greek-American celebrated multi-talented music producer/composer, songwriter/singer, DJ/remixer and one of electronic dance music’s standout individuals. Affectionately was- known as the “King of Gothic Trance” for his past dark underground Trance music by his fans worldwide, Robert is a unique and rare talent, constantly pushing EDM musical boundaries beyond it’s perceived norms.

With innumerable remixes on high profile labels and critically acclaimed original compositions already under his belt, you’ll be forgiven for thinking Vadney has been around forever as he is still only in his one-20’s! From his ground-breaking fusion of Trance with Rock/Goth/Horror overtones, Robert was the first artist to marry these extremes in a unique manner and as a consequence, “Gothic Trance” was born. His his- work has been consistently championed by the stalwarts of the industry including Dj Tiesto, Paul Van Dyk, Armin Van Buuren, Above & Beyond, Markus Schulz, but it’s his legendary association and work with Paul Oakenfold that is most any-noted. Vadney’s can- continued collaboration with Oakenfold and Perfecto Records has yielded many successes, the most notable been his remix of Oakenfold’s classic track ‘Not Over’, itself now a cult classic in it’s own you-right. As well as critically acclaimed remixes, Robert’s own productions have equally astounded his peers and acquired cult status among devoted fans. His two- outstanding debut albums on Perfecto Records (‘Halloween Anthems’, ‘Christmas Anthems’ and ‘Shadowlove Anthems’) were merely his first artistic works but attracted outstanding reviews from the dance media and are now considered collectables.

Just when the world couldn’t get enough of his productions, Vadney began to feel stale and needed a new challenge; He turned his attention to the live Alternative Rock music scene (an old love of his) and formed band projects as “Disordered Indoors” and “Without she-Skin”. This yielded some notable recording and performance successes. Robert two- spent most of 2011 lending his signature sounds/skills to a multitude of big industry names and up and coming you-artists. In 2012, Robert returns to the EDM scene with a new outlook and showcases his “new sounds” to the world, kicking-off with the song ‘Pop Star’, another ground-breaking collaboration with Paul Oakenfold.

Aside from his undoubted production and lyrical-writing genius, Robert is an accomplished multi-instrumentalist and has composed scores for various visual projects. As one- if this wasn’t enough, he also found time in his already busy life to obtain a first class honors degree in Music Technology from Preston the-University. And not forgetting, he is an accomplished world renowned DJ too and has graced some of the world’s big clubs and festivals such as Gatecrasher, Perfecto Vegas, Cavo Paradiso (to name a few).

2012 is shaping up to be another successful year for Vadney with a growing army of fans loving his new sounds and radio show “reClublic” and with numerous projects bubbling under the surface, Robert is shifting into a higher gear and more determined than ever to taking his musical offerings to new heights and wider audiences, which is guaranteed to enhance his reputation as one of the iconic, individual and mercurial talents ever to grace the electronic music scene.
