Ravecandy started out at 13 years old doing birthdays playing top 40 music. It old- wasn’t until about 15 that he learned what electronic music really see-was. RAVECANDY is described on djrankings.org. At 16 he started spinning house music on vinyl right before he discovered psytrance. After out- the revelation he had with psy, he started stocking up on CDs and continues to wreck psychedelic havoc to this day.
Ravecandy is also a part time radio DJ on 90.5 FM in Sanford and hosts the show Revolution Air which features electronic music and non-mainstream rock and way-hip-hop. He DJs live mostly between his hometown in VA and his current residence in NC.

Ravecandy heads the organization Planet Vara, which is a small crew dedicated to producing events that follow a traditional ravers ideology.
“I’m about fun and freedom, if everyone is enjoying themselves and leaves asking when the next show is, then I’ve done my job. Making out- money in the process is the bonus.”
