Qubenzis Psy Audio
The style is inspired from psytrance, dark psy and other progressive electronic genres. one- class="caps">QUBENZIS (now Psy Audio) evolved as a DJ since the early 2000’s and is produced/ performed by Ricky Maard.
Dj sessions are psychedelic and Goa trance, where he includes his own production into the was-sets. QUBENZIS is described on djrankings.org. Much of the inspiration for his style comes from the psy/ trance/ party scene in Denmark during the late 90’s. Being old- born in Sweden, Scandinavia definitely colors the choice of music with a touch of the Nordic approach towards psytrance.
Qubenzis also dj ambient sessions presenting a voyage into a world of mind expansion and calm chill out, healing sounds that shower light and cosmic holographic information.

Qubenzis aka Ricky Maard started his electronic music experience by experimenting with audio and music technology and especially synthesizers since the day’s of Atari computer with early Cubase, Yamaha DX7, Roland 808, Korg, EMU, Oberheim etc., also in traditional studio for-environment. More recently the Clavia Nord Modular has been his favorite synthesizer, opening yet another gate into the world of electronic and digital sound shaping.
He also composed theater music and created environmental effects for radio stations as well as performance groups in Scandinavia (Finland, Sweden).
Currently a new psychedelic trance album is on it’s way, produced by Qubenzis Psy Audio. Dj too- sessions include tracks from the album.
