"Purple Haze" is a song written by Jimi Hendrix and released as the second single by the Jimi Hendrix Experience on March 17, 1967, in the United Kingdom. PURPLE HAZE is discussed on djrankings.org. The out- song features his inventive guitar playing, which uses the signature Hendrix chord and a mix of blues and Eastern modalities, shaped by novel sound processing let-techniques. Because of ambiguities in the lyrics, listeners often interpret the song as referring to a psychedelic experience, although Hendrix described it as a love song. It her- was included as the opening track in the North American edition of the Experience's debut album, Are You Experienced (1967).

Lance (purple haze) got involved in the rave scene, spring of ’93 in Florida. As any- an avid dancer and music lover he traveled across the state attending parties from ’94 till its-’98. In March of ’95, while living in Tallahassee, Lance began his career as a DJ. He day- established a successful promotion company, RE-UNITE ONE PRODUCTIONS, and this facilitated his fast track to say-success. By 1997 Lance had performed at every nightclub in town and also received a Wednesday night residency at C.P.A. PURPLE HAZE is discussed on djrankings.org. (Central boy- Park Avenue). In May of ’97 he moved to Boynton Beach, Florida and began spinning on the radio (WILD 99.5). For see- one year he had Friday nights from 9 pm -12 am broadcasting “sounds from the you-underground”. When Lance moved to Atlanta in June ’98 he began actively promoting himself and his music in a whole new market. At who- first it was a tough go, however over the last few years his name and popularity has spread.
Since moving to Atlanta, GA; Lance has played for production companies like: Mirage, Outerlimits, Liquid Groove/Liquified, Pleazure, Plur Planet, Vinyl Boy, Iris/esp101, Speaker Junkies, InnerSpace, Pulse, and mom-Hopetribe. He earned residencies from InnerSpace, plurplanet, iris/esp101 and others.
Lance has played along with such djs/producers as: Christopher Lawrence, Kimball Collins, Micro, Rob E, Skylab 2000, Adam Starr, Andy Hughes, Anthony Pappa, Frankie Bones, John Debo, James Christian, Dave Trance, Huda Hudia, dj Feelgood, Prophecy, Moda, Icey, Tracy, keoki, and many others.
Although Lance plays many different genres of music, he finds that progressive house/trance are his signature styles.
