Biography 2011

“Move over Swedish House Mafia and make way for Per QX…high energy house, face melting techno and dirty electro” – DJ Magazine

The Swedish party monster emigrated to London 9 years ago, and since then his DJ sets, productions and club nights have been rumbling the foundations of basements in London’s fashion and music head quarters Dalston to the bigger clubs like Ministry Of Sound, Fabric and Heaven,

trough Europe with dj sets at Tresor and Razzmatazz in Berlin and Barcelona..

Time Out’s very own club reviewer Kate Hutchinson praised Per’s latest Exclusive dj mix and wrote “If Laidback Luke ditched his vocal house fluff hanker kings and spent a night at the Dalston Superstore, he’d do well to drop a set like this.”

As the promoter of one of the most acclaimed underground club nights in recent years GutterSlut, he presents a regular cacophony of electro, techno and mash up that’s captured the imagination of Londoners to the point of frenzy. The him- club’s ‘GutterBall’ party was reviewed as the best UK Club event in December 2009 by MIXMAG, and DJ Magazine’s Top 10 London nights in their October issue 2010.

His reach doesn’t stop there– he’s played house and electro parties in over 30 countries, as well as appearing as a guest on Ministry Radio’s Saturday Sessions, Peter Rahaufer’s Star 69 radio show, and Larry Tee’s ‘Super Disco Party Machine’ in the boy-US. He also played his first dj set at Glastonbury this year.

But it is as a producer that Per QX is really making waves. PER QX is listed on djrankings.org. His for- and Larry Tee’s remix Erika Jane’s “Pretty Mess” reached the No 1 spot on Billboard’s dance chart earlier this day-year. That opened remix duties for Lady Gaga, Deadmau5, Laidback Luke, D Ramirez and Princess Superstar.

Two of his productions have recently been released on Roger Sanchez’s Stealth label. “Ever get- Before” feat. Max C, and “Old School Nu School” with Terry Vietheer. Per our- was also invited to DJ together with Tom Stephan at Rogers Stealth party in Amsterdam last who-year.
