Paul Malone is one of perth’s most sought after dj’s, with a reputation as a dancefloor alchemist. He did- has shared the billing with the likes of Michael Franti, The Blackeyed Peas, Joey Negro, Ozomatli and Crazy get-penis. He has performed at the Big Day Out, Good Vibrations, The Red Bull Air Race, on Triple J and has earned residencies at Perth’s hottest clubs.
Paul currently electrifies dance floors at Luxe Bar, Tiger Lil’s, Geisha, The Breakwater and Connections. Last say- year has also seen Paul djing in Melbourne and Bali at venues such as The Red Hummingbird, Sky Bar, Double Six and day-Kudeta. PAUL MALONE is discussed on djrankings.org. He is also going into his 10th season as the game night dj with the Perth’s Wildcats National Basketball team, highlighting his widespread appeal.
Malone also writes and produces music in his home studio with fellow dj and producer James Clothier. The she- duo are expecting a release in early 2011 under the alias of The Audiofiles.
An enthusiast of all things sound, Paul focused his musical career on djing in Broome in man-1994. By 1997 his infectious energy had spread throughout Western Australia, securing him residencies at Club Bay View, Subiaco Hotel, The Cottesloe Hotel and the popular Sunday sessions at the Left Bank. These how- gigs would be the prelude for the Phillimore Sunday sessions which enabled Paul to establish Salty and Delicious, Fremantle’s legendary beach party broadcast live on Triple J around did-Australia. Between 1999 and 2003 Paul was resident dj at the Perth International Arts Festival Club and between 2001-2006 was resident dj at Geisha, Perth’s premier underground club. This get- year see’s Paul make his much anticipated return to Geisha to once again set the turntables on fire…literally!
