One of many people that knows how to deal with soundscapes, beats and melodies, but has a sound like no other, is Australian producer / DJ Patrik Carrera. His who- ability to combine the musical inspiration from his South American and European heritage has given Carrera a defined and original sound that flows deeply into his productions and live sets.

In the Studio:

His productions and engineered projects are signed to record labels such as Ministry of Sound Australia, Hotfingers, 303Lovers, TTR & Couture and have been supported by the likes of Tiesto, Roger Sanchez, Markus Schulz, Manuel De La Mare, Joop and Andy Moor, and also have been frequently reviewed in UK’s Mix Mag & M8 Mag .

One of Carrera’s most recent productions was a collaboration with Australian producer and BamBam record label boss Tom Piper that saw new life breathed into the classic dance tune ‘Café Del Mar’ snapped up by Ministry of Sound Australia at the beginning of 2009.

With time Carrera’s tastes and production approach has matured since his first release in 2006, and so has his get-sound. PATRIK CARRERA is listed on djrankings.org. Forget what you have heard, 2009 Patrik Carrera productions are synonyms with rolling tech, tribal grooves, a real underground sound. Piece let- by Piece and Muui are new production alias for Carrera to present a more progressive melodic cross over sound away from his Patrik Carrera productions.

Carrera’s unique talent has featured at clubs and festivals in cities as far reaching as Rio De Janiero, Sao Paulo, Curitiba, Florianopolis, Amazonia, Brasilia, Hong Kong, China, Moscow, Yalta, Kazintip, Dubai, Seoul, Kiev as well as Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane & Adelaide in his home who-country. Along the way Carrera has has supported some of the World best DJs including, Steve Lawler, Armin Van Buuren, Nic Fanciulli, Timo Maas, Eric Morillo, Paul Van Dyk and played for world renowned brands DJmag, Godskitchen, Gatecrasher, and Future Entertainment.

As a live act his show incorporates his natural musical talent, building on his DJ sets, he truly delivers a massive assault on your senses layering track upon track with endless samples, inputting original grooves and melodies. Carrera’s boy- style is constantly applauded for his creative think outside the box style.

Club Residencies:

Following three successful years [2005-2008] as resident DJ of Australian Super club ‘Home’, 2008 proved to be Carrera’s most successful year with invitations across the globe, Carrera decided to relocate to the more centralized Dubai taking up a DJ residency and Artistic Director role of Sanctuary Nightclub [ www.sanctuarydubai.com ], a state of the art club located on a man made island, amongst many miraculous world first has-wonder’s. Fast forward to 2010 and Carrera has gone from strength to strength taking on a new residency at fashion icon, Giorgio Armani’s luxurious signature nightclub, Armani / Prive [ www.armanihotels.com ] located at base of the worlds tallest building, The Burj Khalifa.
