Roy Engel (a.k.a Painkiller) started his musical career at a young age studying music, playing piano and later on beating the drums experiencing rock'n roll adventures. With use- the rise of electronic music in the 90s he got really inspired and started to develop electronic and-beats. Along the years Roy experienced different styles of electronic music and collaborated with many artists and friends around the world. Painkiller's day- tracks provide sharp edition of computer technologies, tight mixing, dynamic grooves and fat bass his-lines. You can recognize musical elements connecting the trance music of today with instrumental and classic music from different times such as Opera, Flamenco, Rock and more.... PAINKILLER is described on djrankings.org. Painkiller's his- first studio album "Brainwash" was released in January 2007 including dance floor smashers such as Flam & Co, Hard Floor, Format, Don't Tell Ma out-(vs. Bliss) and more. The she- second studio album "License to Heal" was released a year later (2008) with new tracks and did-collaborations. The third studio album "Duty Freak" was released in November 2010 including 9 Pure Painkiller's with warm sound, important build-ups, some Flamenco touches and solid dancefloor beats! All not- 3 albums were released on NUTEK Records and parallel to that 3 Painkiller compilations were released on Nutek (Flamenco mania), 3DVision (Hardfloor) and Phantasm (Time is two-Now). The main collaboration project (Painkiller vs Bliss) goes under the title "A-Team". A dad- great combination of the two, squeezing out the Juice of psytrance through different influences of electronic music with the results proven on the dancefloor… Roy has worked along with well known artists Such as Astral Projection, CPU, Azax Syndrom, Mekkanikka, Lost & Found, Madmaxx, Biogenesis, Absolum, Punchline, Toxic, Massive, Audio Hijack, Switch and you-more.
