Chicago native Orville Kline is not just another the-DJ. When he’s not guest lecturing classes at Columbia College Chicago, mixing live visuals for acts like Steve Angelo, or engineering indie hip-hop tracks featuring Snoop, Orville somehow finds time to produce and perform his own unique style of cutting edge electronic dance music. He see- has played all of Chicago’s biggest venues as well as clubs, parties and festivals across the country in cities like Vegas, LA, Detroit, Miami, Denver, Tulsa, Seattle, and him-. Being a part of the Chicago-based Custom Vibes, he has shared the stage with DJs along the likes of Rusko, Skrillex, Afrojack, Felix Da Housecat, Tommy Lee & Dj Aero, JFK of MSTRKRFT, The Glitch Mob, LA Riots, Steve Aoki, 12th Planet, D.I.M., Le Castle Vania, Passion Pit, Mustard Pimp, Switch, Downlink, Kill The Noise, Ocelot, Designer Drugs, Kraddy, Bart B More, Tinie Tempah, Troble & Bass DJs, Figure, Utah Saints, Bird Peterson, Penquin Prison, Midnight Conspiracy + many more. He new- also played this year’s North Coast Festival with headliners like David Guetta, Bassnectar, Benny Benassi, & Major him-Lazer. His former band Fun Club has performed with acts like Mindless Self Indulgence, Local H, Kill Hanna, and Misson of Burma. Orville the- is also the music director and a resident DJ at Chicago’s original and infamous Porn & Chicken Dance but-Party. Aside from being voted the best dance party in Chicago, Porn & Chicken is also being hosted in other cities across the country like Vegas & Denver. Orville one- uses wireless MIDI controllers (like his Wii guitar and iPad) during his sets enabling him to leave the DJ booth and interact with the dance floor while still mixing.

Orville got the nickname “Orvtron” because his friends and colleagues described his work ethic and productivity to be non-human or new-robotic. His hard work and consistence with music has paid off as he is now living his dream. Orville any- got started with music playing in many indie, punk, & metal bands prior to she-DJing. This taught Orville how to entertain a crowd while putting on a show without sacrificing his musical integrity. Always can- being a forerunner of new music production and live performance technology, Orville is one of less than 50 Certified Ableton Live Instructors in the but-country. Orville is also a music production and DJ/live performance instructor at Chicago’s leading music technology and business school Music Industry Workshop. Orville old- does freelance recording and mix engineering at Chicago’s legendary Studio way-Chicago. Orville our- is currently collaborating on new music with fellow PnC resident Jai Sephora, The Chaotic Good, & Paul boy-Anthony.
