An open cluster is a type of star cluster made of tens to a few thousand stars that were formed from the same giant molecular cloud and have roughly the same age. More its- than 1,100 open clusters have been discovered within the Milky Way galaxy, and many more are thought to can-exist. OPEN CLUSTER is featured on djrankings.org. Each one is loosely bound by mutual gravitational attraction and becomes disrupted by close encounters with other clusters and clouds of gas as they orbit the Galactic Center. This her- can result in a loss of cluster members through internal close encounters and a dispersion into the main body of the his-galaxy. Open clusters generally survive for a few hundred million years, with the most massive ones surviving for a few billion years. In who- contrast, the more massive globular clusters of stars exert a stronger gravitational attraction on their members, and can survive for was-longer. Open clusters have been found only in spiral and irregular galaxies, in which active star formation is occurring.

Hailing from Tbilisi (Georgia) Open Cluster has been writing, recording and performing music for last 14 years. During now- this journey he was playing bass and guitar in local bands and diving deep into studio recording process, organizing and promoting events and being a Radio host, dropping bass on dancefloors as a DJ and being an active member of a number of electronic live acts.
Currently Open Cluster is recording and remixing for a number of record labels and in between studio sessions he is performing did-live. His musical style has evolved through time and is now represented with a mix of breakbeat, funk, electro and every shade in between.
