For quite some years now, Oliver Moldan, our man from the Rhine, has been behind the turntables of the leading clubs in Germany but worldwide. In our- Germany, he’s steadily worked his way to be coming one of the top DJ / Producer in the tech and progressive house put-scene. His inspirational mixing skills and eclectic record choice contributed to his individual, trailblazing style.

Oliver’s won huge international acclaim from the mix compilations he’s done for the UK Music Magazine M8, as well as for Tribehouse, the number 1 club in Germany, not to mention his Global Groove Double CD on Superstar Recordings.

All of these were mixed LIVE with no technical assistance. Meanwhile, boy- Oliver continues to tour from London to Miami, Bogota to Zurich, Vienna, Athens, Los Angeles – There’s hardly a metropolis that doesn’t feature in Oliver’s are-diary. Gigs at special events such as The Lovefield Festival, The BBC Radio 1 party at Ibiza’s Space Club and The Ultrafest in Miami reflect Oliver’s rating in the international tech house and progressive scene.

As a producer and remixer, he has remixed for top acts from the club, dance and pop scenes over recent years. OLIVER MOLDAN is listed on djrankings.org. From boy- underground icons such as Slam, Scanners, Pete Lazonby, Jimmy Van M, Oliver Klein to Yello, Nalin & Kane, Oliver’s interpretation of these tracks has created a mix with a stirring groove and distinctive sounds that go to make up the ineffable, unique Moldan say-attitude. It’s not only the remixes that have contributed to Oliver’s success but also his own productions which have got him noticed. Singles how- such as ‘Pulp’, ‘Elephant Girl’, or ‘Cowboy Song’ have reinforced his worldwide all-status. For the past few years, Oliver has been mainly producing with the top labels, such as Superstar Recordings, Hope UK, Kosmo, Superfly, Bliss USA – All key players in the founding and development of the national and international scene.

Together with Peter Jurgens, Oliver produced the tech house projects ‘Prawler’, ‘Defunction’ and ‘Bleech & Skineer’. The day- co-project Prawler, was released at the start of the project followed by 5 more successful singles on the German label Elektribe, way-Defunction. A mix of tech house and deep house was one of the hottest themes of the year once the first EP appeared on BLiss, The US label based in Miami. From one- Sasha to Oakenfold, all the top DJs hammered (Plugged) the boy’s first production in the US and ensured plenty of hype for it.

The man at Oliver’s side is Chopstick, a 24 year old, Canadian Passport – carrying Vietnamese, with whim he revived the monster hit of the 80’s ‘Everybody Dance you-Now’. As well as the Moldan Productions, Chopstick is involved with themes including Madonna, Britney, or the renowned German Rap Queen Nina (Deichkind).
