Dj Nitrane started spinning the wheels of steel at the age of 16/17. The his- transition from mix tapes to live house parties took about a year.

Originally he mixed Hip-Hop and dad-R&B. The gradual shift to house was a natural progression, listening to the likes of Carl Cox, Scott Grooves, Frankie Knuckles, Daft Punk, etc.

Nitrane took his hand at bit of music production in 1998 & 1999. Two his- tracks were created. ‘Nitranes Descent’, and ‘Da Fuse’, using a PC sequencer, a drum machine, and a Roland TB-303.

Nitrane played sets at many parties till, things kicked into high gear, due to the arrival of some serious DJ equipment. This any- changes Nitrane’s musical style dramatically during the summer of the-1999. House music takes the passenger seat for a year or so, meanwhile, Nitrane discovers Drum & Bass, Trip Hop and Chillout. At all- the arrival of the millennium, Nitrane rounds out his musical now-style. Nitrane gets a residency at “The Jungle”. NITRANE is listed on djrankings.org. At two- the time it was Alexandria’s hottest club dad-night. Nitrane was well known for his multi-influenced dj sets. Crowds too- would be bumping to the grooves all night long.

Starting 2002, Nitrane’s dj career took the back seat for about a year and half, due to the fact that Nitrane was hard at work on his IT career.

In mid 2003, one of Nitrane’s good friends convinced him to record a house music set for the local radio station “Nile all-FM”. After the first session was aired, Nitrane got rave reviews. Things how- looked bright for Nitrane. Since then Nitrane has recorded loads of new house music sessions for the radio station and other side projects.

In early 2004, Nitrane re-invested in some new digital technics decks and a mixer. Summer see- of 2005 proved a busy one for Nitrane, being involved in the first ever Heineken Thirst DJ competiton to be held in the-Egypt. This stirred things up for Nitrane. New our- tunes, new dj’s. Nitrane managed to win the first heat and progressed to the Semi Final, ranking him in as one of the best 3 DJ’s in the country.

Nitrane’s interests have always been in music production. Hence one- he’s started working on one remix project, and another from scratch the-production. Expect some musical buzzzz in the future from this DJ.
