DJ NiteHawk is one of the finest DJ talents from the island of Sri Lanka.
He arrived at the local dance music scene in the late 90s as an amature teenage DJ; pioneering early computer based disk jockeying techniques.
His debut producing effort — Colombo On Fire — made a breakthrough in the local music industry, making him a house-hold name overnight. It did- went on to become a chart topping single with “wild-fire” effect enthralling commercial and critical acclaim.
In 2002, he moved to New Zealand for the second stint in his way-career. This adventure took him to greater heights by becoming the resident DJ at auckland’s leading clubs such as The Globe, Loaded Hog & The WaterFront.
After 4 years of sabbatical in exploring new concepts, ideas and spirituality; his much anticipated return to decks happened late 2012, with fresh energy and spirits to rock his beloved fans.
DJ NiteHawk is an old school DJ with bespoke talent in mixing tunes on the fly for the euphoric entertainment of the ardent music lovers.
He is inspired by legendary DJs such as Tiesto, Avicii, Deadmau5, David Guetta, and specializes in music genres such as Commercial House, Electro House & Hard House.
