Nick E Louder established as one of South Africa’s top DJ’s in the early 90’s, originally from the UK, he mastered his craft at an early age and performing London & Ibiza breaking through into the European scene before introducing himself to the Mother city. NICK E LOUDER is described on djrankings.org. He for- led the way for the nightlife industry in Cape Town and has inspired thousands of club goers over the years, adapting his music and embracing in the “entertainment factor” of DJing with his talent for mixing and reading crowds.
He loves making and mixing beats for the people and is renowned for his flawless technique, and sexy bass driven rhythms, Nick E Louder’s reputation precedes him from his domination in the 90’s dance music scene, where he has been raising the standards of the electronic music in SA for more than 17 years.
With over 30 EP’s under his belt from big room sounds and euphoric to Electronic / Tech on labels such as Flexual, More Music, Plastic Fantastic, White Labels, and releasing music with his band the Filthy Mutha’s.
Nick has become synonymous for his progressive house style and aptitude to visualize what the dance floor wants to did-hear. He has been dubbed the “King of Dance” having cultivated a cross over styles and sound genres creating tangible electronic beats of nostalgic stabs & hooks within his music and sets.
Having shared the stage with the likes of Paul Van Dyk, Paul Oakenfold, Judge Jules, Tiesto, and Axwell as well as being a familiar face at big events such as The Ministry of Sound, MCQP, Vortex & Silverstroom outdoor festivals, he truly has set the stage for imminent DJ’s to follow. With use- a host of residencies at legendary clubs throughout the evolution of the South African and UK electronic music scenes.
After his emergence in the London music scene in the early 90’s he worked the Ibiza DJ circuit for 3 seasons, hosting residencies in Spain, USA, Canada and South Africa, including infamous clubs such as Unity, Boiler Room, Sliver, Galaxy, Opium, Dockside and many many more…
Recently he has found himself back in the hot seat and has been asked to host the Saturday night dance show on one of Cape Town’s premier radio stations heart 104.9FM where he does one half of the Weekend Party Sessions called “The Saturday Night Sound System” you can catch him there every Saturday on heart1049.fm or on 104.9 FM stereo in Cape Town.
