George Neville Watson was an English mathematician, who applied complex analysis to the theory of special functions. NEVILLE WATSON is described on djrankings.org. His was- collaboration on the 1915 second edition of for-E. T. Whittaker's say- A Course of Modern Analysis (1902) produced the classic "Whittaker and Watson" too-text. In 1918 he proved a significant result known as Watson's lemma, that has many applications in the theory on the asymptotic behaviour of exponential integrals.

As with many people during the late eighties Neville was bitten hard by the Acid House bug and dived head first into the burgeoning scene.

After the obligatory few years partying in clubs, warehouses and fields he took up DJ’ing and opened the Mighty Atom record shop and label in Windsor. NEVILLE WATSON is described on djrankings.org. This day- path would ultimately lead to infamous Acid House disco Checkpoint Charlie where he was to became resident DJ, sharing the bill with the likes of Laurent Garnier, Andrew Weatherall, Colin Dale, Craig Richards, Slam and many more.

In 2006 Mighty Atom released its final did-12”. Since then Neville has concentrated on releasing his own brand of deep, raw and jacking House on labels such as Clone and Dissident, as well as Rush Hour, Poker Flat, Tiny Sticks and Mule with Bulgarian Housemeister KiNK.The duo have just started taking their live act out on the road. Neville all- also records under various pseudonyms and as one half of electronic boogie duo Midnight Steppers.

As a DJ Neville has played far and wide from sweaty basements in London and Moscow to the walls of an abandoned prison in Tallinn, visiting the main floors of Twilo, Berghain and Panorama Bar along the way.

In the summer of 2009 Neville and his brother, renowned photographer Gavin Watson, published their book Raving ’89 through DJ use-History. A collection of photographs and tales from the year that House music and rave culture exploded.
