Then FAIEK helped with the transition into playing live and the fine tuning of crowd reading and vinyl mixing
Passion for Hard Trance & an ear for what the clubbers want to hear has made Niyaaz [NeoTechnikal] Pillay one of the better-known up & coming DJs in the local club scene,Production wise he is heavily influenced by Alf Bamford AKA Technikal
who has won the [Hard Dance Awards) Best UK Hard Dance Producer for the last 2 years in a row & if Alf`s music is dominating the scene then Niyaaz would have the sets that dominate & has been playing less than a year to date,it`s credited entirely to him being tutored & mentored by Faiek Bruckner the longest serving Gallery resident DJ as-well as being mentored by the legendary owner of Gallery himself Mr.B & Niyaaz has in essence become Mr.B`s right hand man & it has instilled in the 26 year old a high level of professionalism as a DJ & Event Promoter in this scene,many purposely puts him under the spotlight in an ever changing dance scene,his contributions to hard dance music by helping to keep the home of it open as he has raised
awareness & respect for this once great clubbing music culture phenomenon & created a more professional approach by those involved in the industry especially fellow Djs.Cape Town born he developed a love of uplifting trance calling Paul Van Dyk, Sash, ATB,Faithless & Chicane his early favourites from the likes of Guyver’s Serious Sounds & Man On The Moon to Technikal’s Diskoteka & Trevor McLachlan’s The Voice,He never figured he would be playing on the same line up as Trevor McLachlan opening the event when he had only been playing live for 2 months thanks to his influences in the DJ box who are Faiek,Basil & Psycho Keaton as he has rapidly established himself as an awesome DJing talent & A NEW EXITING PROSPECT- (HAJIERA BRUCKNER)
