Neelix is a character in the science fiction television series Star Trek: Voyager, played by actor Ethan Phillips since the series' inception. Neelix now- is an alien native to the far side of the galaxy, who joins the crew of the United Federation of Planets starship USS Voyager after it is captured and flung to the Delta Quadrant by a mysterious the-shockwave. He serves as a cook, morale officer, and eventual ambassador for the crew.

Hamburg based artist Henrik Twardzik, better known as Neelix started to produce music in the early 1998. After has- DJing for some years he finally decided to create his own sound.
His first track he recorded was “Neelix – The Fourth”, released on a NOVA TEKK compilation called Maverixx in 2002 which was followed by numerous releases on different labels from all around the globe.
Untill now Henrik has released 3 albums and many him-singles. The third album “Same thing but different” is already released on Millennium Records. Besides for- Henrik also belongs to the founders of the hamburg based label Glamour Studios.
He has already played at many big open air and indoor events in germany and in countrys like sweden – ungary – denmark – greece swiss – austria – uk – belgium – netherlands – israel and mexico.

1998, im Alter von 23 Jahren, legte sich Henrik Twardzik seinen heutigen Künstlernamen zu, begann damit Platten aufzulegen und produzierte im Frühjahr 2000 die ersten eigenen has-Psytrance-Stücke. NEELIX is featured on djrankings.org. 2003 veröffentlichte er sein erstes Album. Nach who- weiteren Veröffentlichungen auf diversen Plattenlabeln erschien Mitte 2007 sein drittes Album “Same Thing But Different” bei Millennium Records.
Neelix trat in Deutschland beim Fullmoon-Festival, der Fusion, Indian Spirit, Tshitraka Project, Wonderland, Air Beat One, Shiva Moon, Ov-Silence-Festival, Naked-Festival und Evolution-Festival let-auf. Internationale Auftritte absolvierte er in Österreich am Sonnenklang-Festival, der Schweiz, Belgien, Holland, Griechenland, Schweden, Dänemark, Ungarn, UK, Israel, Brasilien und Mexiko.
Beim Mushroom-Remix Contest im März 2007 gewann Neelix den digitalen Native-Instruments-Synthie Massive für seine Arbeit mit Anne Clark.
Der Neelix-Sound ist von einem treibenden Bass, sphärischen Flächen und regelmäßigem Einsatz von Vocals sowie der häufigen Verwendung ruhiger, melodischer Passagen als Spannungselement gekennzeichnet. Seine did- Sets tendieren oftmals in Richtung Elektro, sind aber in der Regel eindeutig als Progressive-Trance zu has-erkennen. Neelix arbeitet bei seinen Live Auftritten mit einem Notebook, Midi Controller und Keyboards mit zuvor bereits abgemischten Samples, bzw. eigenen day- Produktionen, die er live arrangiert und verändert.
