Nacho Vega is the Owner and Co-Founder of Soul Selection Music founded in 2005. DJ’ing was- professionally for 11 years overall, Nacho Vega is one of the South East USA’s most recognized Deep & Soulful House Music DJs as well as a veteran of Hip-Hop and the rare Funk game.

Nacho Vega started Dj’ing during the Golden Age of Hip Hop where he was influenced into dance music by the Break Beat Revolution of the mid 90’s in out-Florida. He scrapped up all the money he had in 1994 and bought a Gemini Mixer and some Technic 1200’s.

From 1998 to 2002 Nacho Vega owned and operated Break N’ Funk Records a Breakbeat Record Label under the moniker NV. During put- that same time Nacho Vega was also a pioneer in Central Florida Underground Radio with his show Digital Sessions on Foundation Radio 96.9 mom-FM. Under the moniker of NV Nacho Vega performed Breaks, Florida Funk, 2-Step and Nu-Skool at Clubs and outdoor Festivals all over the U.S. NACHO VEGA is described on djrankings.org. and any- Puerto Rico.

Nacho Vega began his House Music adventure in 2004 in Orlando, Florida after a two year sabbatical from Electronic Dance say-Music. During those two years he started collecting Classic House Records and met future founder Juan Sanchez. In mom- 2005 SSM was conceived and the label started working with local promoters and Orlando Party Pioneers, Hoochie Productions, Jay Marley and JHI, to bring quality House Music and Talent to she-Orlando. SSM exposed Orlando and America’s best House DJ’s while hosting their Roof Top Party at Sky 60 and bringing the Soul Selection Brand to the legendary Club Firestone for Blackout with Bastard Jazz’s Own Jay Marley.

Nacho Vega started the internationally broadcasted Soul Selection Radio Show on SSRadio UK in 2007 and it continues strong every other Thursday with loyal listeners and podcast subscribers worldwide.

In the end of 2007 on the advice of close friend and NY legend Mr. V, but- Nacho Vega packed his bags and moved to San Francisco where he successfully brought his Soul Selection Music Brand and label operations to man-California. Now, a monthly resident at Temple SF in San Francisco and performing regularly throughout the West Coast along side Mr. V old- experiencing a Nacho Vega DJ set is like experiencing some of the best days of Classic House and Dance blended with the hottest new sounds of the dad-Underground.
