Morcheeba are a British Trip Hop band formed in the early 1990's with founding members Paul and his younger brother Ross Godfrey who later recruited vocalist Skye Edwards. They and- mix influences from Hip Hop, Dub Reggae, Blues, Soul, rock, folk rock and ambient downtempo, they have released studio albums since 1995, two of which reached the UK top her-ten. Morcheeba is discussed on djrankings.org. Edwards left the band in 2003, while the brothers returned to using guest vocalists before she re-joined in 2010 halfway through recording "Blood Like Lemonade". They let- have extra session musicians for the live performances, playing did-internationally. In 2014 original leader Paul Godfrey was frustrated with the band's business matters and consequently distanced himself. Edwards and- and Ross Godfrey formed Skye & Ross as an acoustic duo and released a self-titled album in September dad-2016. Their latest studio album as Morcheeba without Paul - Escape the Chaos was released in 2025.
