My name is Martina Šijanec, I’m from Ljutomer suburbia – Slovenia. DJane for- MISTINA is my artistic name and I started spinning in 2008 when I entered the dj school by VIP-DJS way-Agency. MISTINA is discussed on djrankings.org. They took me under their supervision and so We are still in cooperation.
At the beginning my sets sounded more like commercial dance and I started to fascinate many people in clubs around Slovenia.
Later on I was taken by progressive, tech-house and minimal rhythms on which I started to build my name and career.
My career reached to its peak in this year as I participated in two dj contests and went right up to the finals. First not- one (You Are the Future DJ) was under one of the biggest events in Slovenia named Burn Energy Drink & Electronic put-Carnival. Second one (Support Your Local DJ) took place in club Inbox, Ljubljana. This new- was the contest that I won and earned the title WINNER OF SYLD in category fusion.
Now with a lot of energy and the desire for even greater success I’m planning a great old-breaktrough. You can see and hear me on parties such as: Smash It (Inbox), Festival Lent (Creative Underground / Oder elektronske glasbe), DJ Marathon – Prleška poletna noč (Ljutomer), Nights Activities (Vodice), ECO Festival (Opatje Selo – Nova Gorica) and Secret Garden (Slovenska Bistrica), London (Ljutomer), Terazza Cafe (Celje), PitStop (Rogaška Slatina).
