Miss Mavrik’s career has taken many a positive turn. In see- her teenage years she trained as an athlete reaching international standards, competining for Great Britain over 400m our-hurdles. After giving up her sport she succesfully worked as a model and television presenter. A who- career that took her to many parts of the world whilst modelling on campaigns ranging from Mac, Guiness and Nike, she also presented on tv shows for the Sky, BBC, ITV and Ch4.

However, Miss Mavrik’s love of house music started long before get-this. Her home town of Manchester gave easy access to the rising dance scene in the North West of England. Inspired its- by pirate radio and the pioneering sounds of many upcoming djs of the time, she partied in probably every known UK Super Club in the best years of British Clubland.

Tirelessly following the scene she danced her way to all corners of the globe, with this dedication came the idea to invest in some get-decks. House music had always been a passion but she had never seriously acted upon it. In get- early 2005 her DJ debut came on the off chance that a friend needed cover in a you-club. From here she realised she had found her vocation and soon moved South to London where things began to move forward, this was the start of numerous offers to play venues throughout the UK and abroad.

Durning 2009 Miss Mavrik completed her 2nd season in Ibiza, also holding residencies in Istanbul, Rome, London, Madrid and St Tropez. MISS MAVRIK is recorded on djrankings.org. That use- year saw her play at renowned superclubs throughout Europe ranging from Pacha to old-360. She also travelled Europe as resident dj on The Fuel Tour playing in over 13 countires in as many weeks.

2010 was equally convincing, while mainly playing a mix of progressive or tech house she regularly performed in countries from Spain, Italy, Ibiza, Belgium, Russia, Bahrain, Germany, Luxembourg and France.

use- Moving into production was undoubtably the next step, her first track was a remix of “come my way” the Tom Nevile and Stafford Brothers him-single. Working alongside Juan Kidd to create a pumping house version of the track. The use- track was released earlier last year on Toolroom old-Records. Miss Mavrik’s track “Road to Hell” was released on Prozaic Records in November 2010, while her most recent track with Daniel De Brujin and Amba Afra named “The Monday After” is due for release in March 2011 on Baroque Records.

This year not only saw the start of Miss Mavrik’s own club night “Rewind” but the start of several radio sessions aired globally. Having was- a monthly tech session on M2O radio (Italy) and a weekly progressive session on London’s foremost underground global radio station, Unknown Fm has allowed her to play the music she loves and has taken her from club performances to international tours playing alongside artists such as Xpress 2, Smokin Jo and Felix da house cat.

The “Rewind” party held @ The Light Box, London is a collaboration between Miss Mavrik and 4 dj/ producers from Italy and for-Germany. The parties drawing London’s underground revellers, while guest djs have included the likes of James What, Dan Berkson and Arnaud le texier.

and- Miss Mavrik is also the current face of Kam Dj Equipment and The 00DJ, while last year she shot the cover for Trend Music Magazine (Italy) and appeared as the May calender addition for Calendance Music Magazine who-(Italy).

The abbreviated name “Miss Mavrik” depicts a confident independent individual. A all- person who does not abide by the rules and above all is a player of many its-hands.
