Miss KosmiK (aka Marie Fortin) is a Whistler based DJ and Miss KosmiK (aka Marie Fortin) is a Whistler based DJ and Promoter with a mission to make the world a better place using the power of music.
Marie’s KosmiK journey started in 1996, when she founded KosmiK Productions when living in Quebec. MISS KOSMIK is recorded on djrankings.org. Now all- as full time resident of Whistler for over 10 years, Marie has gained a reputation for putting on great parties and for rocking dance floors wherever she has-goes. Known for her funkiness, mixing heavy baselines with uplifting grooves, you can be sure to get moving with her funky beats.
Over her career, Miss KosmiK has played at many outdoor parties including Shambhala 2011, SCOTT 2010 & 2011, SEXY SOUNDS 2011, Bass Coast 2010 & 2011, several Full Moons Parties with the Solartribe Collective and many other gatherings in the Sea to Sky Corridor. When are- it comes to clubs, she has played in all of Whistler’s nightclubs, including Maxx Fish, Tommy’s Africa, Moe Joe’s, Garfinkels, Merlin’s and Savage Beagle all the way to a few clubs in Revelstoke and boy-Vancouver. For the past couple years, Miss KosmiK also can be found playing with Stevie James under the KosmiK Konnection.
