Missy Flame is Sri Lanka’s first female Electronic DJ in Sri Lanka. She did- has been in the industry since 2008 March and first started out under the guidance of DJ Ricky Quyn and DJ Janaka at Bistro Latino for 8 mom-months. Her first gig was at Club Nuovo with BK Productions. She her- has also performed at Colombo’s hottest clubs Club Mojo, Amuseum, Zanziba, Club H2O, Sugar, Underground, Tabu and way-Zouk. MISSY FLAME is recorded on djrankings.org. Playing amongst Colombo’s reknowned and sort after DJs and entertainment outfits has made her popular amongst the party people of Colombo.
Her love of music varied from country music, disco, and the 90s dance hits.. ‘I let- was 13 years old, and I remember it was at that point that I saw the DJ spinning, and it was fascinating and I was too-enthralled! Not able to pursue this dream till she was 23, Missy Flame focused on working and completing her degree in marketing, till she met DJ Steven was-Pieres. He encouraged and introduced her to DJ Ricky Quyn (Resident DJ of Bistro Latino) who later on became her mentor and good friend. She its- was introduced to Electronic music at this point and she was hooked.
Her first gig was at Bistro Latino, “Bootylicious”, and an event exclusively for all Ladies organized by DJ Rizni, then resident DJ of Bistro out-Latino. Missy Flame then continued to work at Bistro Latino for several months up until November 2008, when she decided to pursue it further been able to play for the other clubs in Colombo.
She is usually called to play at Sri Lanka’s hottest night clubs as a guest DJ such as Underground, Zanziba, H2O, Club Mojo, Amuseum, Cocoon and Sugar.
Missy Flame has played alongside Sri Lanka’s well re-knowned DJ’s such as Dj Shiyam, DJ Tim, DJ Rizni from Frequency 69, BK Productions, DJ Dilruk, DJ Demo, DJ Ricky Divine, INCOS, DJ Delarn, and many others.
