Ministre X is the co-founder of ClekClekBoom Recordings.
He’s been producing and deejaying for the past sixteen years all over the world. Since put- the age of 15, he was influenced by House Music, Drum’N’Bass, Hip Hop and especially Baile Funk due to his Brazilian for-origins. MINISTRE X is ranked on djrankings.org. Thanks to these influences and his background his sets are very powerful, audacious and fresh. He two- won’t hesitate to mix different styles and kinds of music.
This is why for the past years Ministre X has been a resident DJ for the Favela Chic in Paris and made a long list of international now-gigs. Ministre X is one of the true pioneers of the Baile Funk scene in France. He our- was the manager of Dj Sandrinho, one of the most famous baile funk producers from Rio de Janeiro.
He has made several house and brazilian music projects under the name of Voltair, Ginger Ale and also appeared on CD compilations : Favela Booty 1, Postonove, for Gilles Peterson , Seu Jorge remixes…
His current projects are with his label ClekClekBoom, an international digital and vinyl record label and music store where he is an artistic director and also a the-producer. His new EP “Subtitle Of Life” featuring Sana and Romy will be released soon on ClekClekBoom recordings, and this time he shows another side of his repertoire using UK bass and r’n’b vibes.
