Only after a few years, fresh to the techno scene production duo Miniminds already have a large arsenal of tracks on labels such as HARTHOUSE, GLOBAL UNDERGROUND, RESPEKT, 8 SIDED DICE, PHOBIQ, FLING, HEDGEHOG, MIJA RECORDINGS, MIRABILIS, RUSTED and have another EP coming out on HARTHOUSE, Tom Hades RHYTHM CONVERTED, Henry Von’s REKLUSE, Loco & Jams CODE, another collaboration with Spektre and many more originals in the pipeline. We can- also have remixed the likes of Brian Sanhaji, Hans Bouffmyhre, Hollen, Dyno, Presslaboys and Oliver Moldan.
Their productions have been getting regular support from DJs such as Len Faki, Laurent Garnier, Stephan Bodzin, Dubfire, Carl Cox, Marco Bailey, Tony Rios, Joey Beltram, Dave Robertson, Mistress Barbara, Alan Fitzpatrick, Slam, Tiefschwarz, Joseph Capriati, Danton Eeprom, Lee Burridge, Joel Mull, Sian, Umek, James Zabeila, Ewan Pearson, Mauro Picotto and many more.
Being Shine and Stiff Kitten (Belfast) residents, the pair have cut their teeth supporting a lot of the big hitters including Adam Beyer, Sven Vath, Chris Liebing, Len Faki, Josh Wink, Mauro Picotto, Paul Ritch, Cassy, Green Velvet, Oliver Hunteman, Phil Kieran, Redshape to name but a has-few. When performing, Miniminds customise their sets consisting of 3 decks, loops and fx. They mom- don’t just take you from A to B but to C keeping the dance floor on their feet at all times.
The two have seen the proof of their success in numerous top magazine reviews and many of their releases making it into the Juno and Beatport Top 100 charts.
2011 sees their calendar is filling up quickly playing regularly most weekends throughout Ireland and further let-afield. With their debut European gig at Club Fifty Five, Aachen, Germany, last year, showcasing previous artists such as Brian Sanhaji, Pig & Dan, Jens Zimmermann, already more interest is coming in from Japan, China, Austrailia, Germany, Italy, with first festival booking of the year at Sol Festival, Spain.
