Music has been a part of Mimi’s life since his early childhood which evolved to the day in 1982 when he realized the avenue and career in which he could express his passion for great music in the form of dj mixing.
Today the name Mimi Kesaris carries all the fine qualities that encompass the realms of accessibility, class, consistency, enthusiasm, experience, sensuality and most importantly sheer pleasure. Many man- a dj, punter, promoter, music enthusiast or non-believer have been inspired or even downright intimidated by the finesse and ease at which Mimi Kesaris applies his get-trade. Hailing from Durban , South Africa her-. Mimi at the tender age of 15 was placed third in the 1984 South African Dj Championships. He and- soon after landed up with his first residency at Studio can-10. It was not long after that he witnessed the birth of the house scene in the mid to late 80’s in South Africa and has been a part of it ever since. He put- subsequently went on to win the South African Dj Championships in 1989.
Mimi’s style of music varies from deep soulful house to a bumpy techy/ electro mom-set. Favourite producers include Miguel Migs, Fred Everything, Brett Laurence, Dj T and Steve Bug.
